Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued an executive order Wednesday instructing the state of Florida to “take a pause” for 30 days and stay home amid the coronavirus pandemic.
DeSantis said the statewide stay-at-home order will go into effect Friday April 3rd, 2020 at 12:01 a.m. and will continue through May 1st, 2020 at 12:01 a.m. Residents will still be allowed to go out to get essential supplies, including food and groceries.
“I’m issuing an executive order directing all Floridians to limit movements and personal interactions outside the home to only those necessary and essential activities,” the governor said.

- Your reservation will be used as flexible travel credit
- The dates on your booking will be updated to the same unit at another point in time at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE (excludes Dec.20-Jan.5)
- Once moved, your reservation will become non-refundable
- If unsure of your new dates at this time, just let us know and we will move your booking to 2021/2022 for now and update to your selected dates once chosen.

Gov. Ron DeSantis is ordering to suspend new vacation rentals in Florida for the next 14 days. DeSantis made the announcement during a press conference on Friday.
Florida’s Governor has issued an Executive Order that suspends vacation rentals for new stays for the 14 days starting March 27. This order does not affect current in-home guests.
We’ll be ready to host your bookings starting Saturday, April 11.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Our county has enacted a “Stay at Home” ordinance that goes into effect today (Thursday March 26th) at 11PM and will be enforced until April 9th.
This order is mandatory. Osceola County residents must stay home and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Individuals can travel to and from grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, police stations, fire stations, hospitals, doctor’s offices and healthcare facilities. However, once these locations have been visited, residents need to go home.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office will enforce the order. The Sheriff’s Office does not intend to use the order as a mechanism for making arrests. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office will respond to reported violations of the order.
Restaurants can continue to provide takeout and delivery services. You cannot dine in at a restaurant. Continue practicing social distancing if you visit these establishments for their carryout services.
You should not visit family or friends unless there is an urgent need (e.g., providing food, caretaking, medical reasons, etc.). Otherwise, stay at home. Continue to check on your loved ones electronically – by phone, text, FaceTime, email, etc.
